About My Clients
Are you looking for a safe space to explore, process and cope with losses and hardships? Providing this for you is my intention, and something I enter into with an open-heart and mind. I am drawn to person-centered, mindfulness and strengths-based approaches because I believe everyone is capable of healing from within, especially when given grounding space to do so. We will work together to cultivate self-compassion and awareness.
My Background and Approach
I am licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners, and am a member of the American Counseling Association. Following the death of my beloved brother I was drawn to mindfulness practices. After spending time on my own grief journey, I wished to share the healing potential of these practices with others. So, I received certification in Compassionate Bereavement Care in Yoga through the MISS Foundation in 2017. I have also been associated with the community-based support group The Compassionate Friends since 2012. My passion for human rights and advocacy informs my therapeutic approaches.
