About My Clients

My clients care deeply—about their work, their relationships, and doing things “right.” They often hold themselves to high standards and feel responsible for keeping everything running smoothly. Beneath that, there’s anxiety, self-doubt, and a longing to feel more at ease. They’re ready to feel less on edge and more like themselves.

My Background and Approach

I started my career as an elementary school counselor and later a high school-based therapist, helping young people navigate big emotions and high expectations. Now, I work with adults who often still carry those same patterns—overthinking, people-pleasing, and pressure to get it “right.” My approach is warm, real, and collaborative. I blend practical tools with deeper insight, helping you understand your patterns, regulate your nervous system, and reconnect with the part of you that was never broken to begin with.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe much of our work in adulthood is learning to care for the younger parts of ourselves that didn’t get what they needed. Therapy can be a space for that kind of reparenting—responding to yourself with more compassion, steadiness, and understanding. I also believe parenting is some of the most vulnerable and clarifying work we do. It often brings our own patterns to the surface and offers a chance to break cycles. At my core, I believe people are inherently good. Many struggles—anxiety, people-pleasing, perfectionism—are adaptations shaped in environments where it didn’t feel safe to have needs or big emotions. We live in a culture that often values convenience over authenticity and avoids feeling deeply, which is where much of the pain we carry begins. I’m also passionate about reframing ADHD in a more compassionate, strengths-based way.
