About My Clients
I believe that one of the worst experiences in life is to struggle alone. If you are experiencing symptoms of overcontrol (e.g. socially masking, anxiety, OCD, rigid thinking and behaviors, social isolation, perfectionism, etc), I would love to help you break free!
My Background and Approach
I provide a warm, validating environment that is free of judgement and distractions. I have been in the field for over a decade and genuinely love working with clients. Many clients tell me that they recognize that I truly care about their well-being. I am foundationally trained in DBT and am completing training in RO-DBT (for symptoms of overcontrol). I love helping people on their path to wellness. Building strong relationships with my clients is an important value of mine, as well as making sure that progress is happening. I have worked in many different settings (inpatient, partial care, outpatient, community mental health centers, group practice) and I have met so many wonderful people along the way. I am grateful at the opportunities I've had in this field and I believe it's made me a more effective therapist.
