The goal is to work together to establish balance in your life and go from feeling like you pouring from and empty cup to a place of overflow.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working in the mental health field for 9 years. Everyday I work with adults who want to address anything from life transitions to addition. My specialties are depression, anxiety, family conflict, and life transitions. I utilize a multitude of frameworks to assist in the therapeutic process. The information you share will guide me to what might be the most helpful for you. There is no one option that best fits every person. You guide your treatment and it is an individualized process. The relationship between a therapist and client is a partnership. I am not here to judge you or to tell you what to do. Let's work together to figure out what works for you. What will improve your overall wellness and fill your cup?
Why I Became a Therapist
I began to study social work after reflecting on my positive interactions with my social workers while going through cancer treatment. I originally went to school for art but struggled to see how I would be of assistance to others. I became a therapist because I like working with other and seeing them blossom into the person they envisioned themselves to be. My hope is to provide additional services and resources for individuals with a cancer diagnosis.
