About My Clients

I have been practicing professionally since February 2018. I have worked with a variety of ages and issues including ADHD, ODD, anxiety, grief, mood disorders, trauma and adjustment disorders. My Background and Approach

My approach to counseling is person-centered integrated with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Theory, and Play Therapy. I will be a partner in facilitating your mental health and wellness through empathetic reflection, non-judgmental responses, and cultivating an environment where you are free to express your needs and emotions genuinely. I incorporate CBT techniques and mindfulness to help clients create change in their lives. I use play therapy techniques when working with children to better communicate with clients in earlier developmental stages. Parents/caregivers play a key role in their child’s therapy and it is expected they will fully participate in the therapeutic process. I also work with parents individually to address concerns in the family system that affect the mental health of their children.
