About My Clients
I support children, adolescents, and young adults who are navigating anxiety, life transitions, emotional dysregulation, trauma, and challenges at school and/or at home. Many of my clients struggle with overwhelming emotions or behavioral challenges that leave them feeling stuck and struggling to move forward. I also support clients experiencing school-related concerns, including school avoidance, academic stress, and social difficulty.
My Background and Approach
I was a teacher for 5 years prior to entering the counseling world. Through that experience, I learned a lot about supporting children both academically and socially. I took to the counseling path and got my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I graduated in 2025 with a certification in Trauma Informed Care. These experiences and education prepared me to support the unique challenges that children and families face at school and in the home. I combine this foundation with trauma-informed, evidence based counseling to help children, adolescents, and young adults build emotional regulation, resilience, and healthy coping skills. Therapy should feel supportive and collaborative. Clients should feel understood, empowered, and equipped with the tools they can utilize outside of sessions to support their own growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I very strongly believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to receive support and flourish in the world. I am an active member of the LGBTQ+ community and love supporting members of the community through my work.
