About My Clients

The people I work with are often keeping it together on the outside. But something won't resolve: anxiety that shows up in everything, depression that's more than just sadness, or being at a point in life where what used to work doesn't anymore. Some come in knowing exactly what they want to address. Others just know something needs to change. Attention and focus, anger, disconnected relationships, persistent worries, tough life transitions, the weight of the past - these are common themes.

My Background and Approach

I've spent 16 years in clinical practice working with individuals through anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, big life changes, and the emotional patterns that run alongside addiction and recovery. My approach is integrative. I draw primarily on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Internal Family Systems within a trauma-informed frame, and I work to match the method to the person rather than the other way around. We work to understand what's actually driving your experience, build real insight, and develop strategies that hold outside the session. I'm co-founder of Rule 62 Therapy, a small group practice. Working within a team means clients have access to different approaches, specialties, and schedules, which makes finding a genuinely good fit more likely.

Why I am a Good Fit for You

Many people come to their first session unsure what to say or where to begin. That's fine. We start with what's on your mind and go from there. Sessions are collaborative, not prescriptive. I ask questions, you set the pace, and we figure out together what actually needs attention. Some clients have a specific goal and want to move toward it directly. Others are working through something longer-term that needs more depth. Both are perfectly valid. I work best with people who are willing to be honest, even when it's uncomfortable. That doesn't mean having it figured out before you come in. It means being open to looking at what's actually driving the pattern and willing to try something different. If you're not sure therapy is right for you, that's a fine place to start. The initial consultation is a conversation, not a commitment. Reach out here or visit www.Rule62Therapy.com.
