My Background and Approach
Salonia Singh, LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the Founder of Salonia Singh Therapy & Associates. She earned her graduate training from Pepperdine University's Graduate School of Education and Psychology and completed her clinical training at The Maple Counseling Center, where she developed a strong foundation in psychodynamic therapy. Salonia specializes in working with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, relationship and marital challenges, family conflict, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, childhood trauma, intergenerational trauma, and cultural identity issues. As a first-generation South Asian immigrant, she brings a unique understanding of the challenges faced by individuals balancing cultural expectations, family obligations, and personal growth. Her work is particularly focused on supporting South Asian, BIPOC, immigrant, and multicultural communities. Salonia is trained in EMDR therapy, the Gottman Method for couples therapy.
