About My Clients
We specialize in mental health evaluations for veteran seeking disability claims. These evaluations can run almost $1000 elsewhere, or require a percentage of your award. We charge a reasonable flat fee and any increase is yours. We also complete other disability claims for workman's compensation and social security administration. Our staff can also provide therapy services for veterans, LGBTQ, and families through telehealth.
My Background and Approach
We have completed thousands of mental health evaluations and know the language the disability boards are looking for in your claim. We also have training in therapy approaches for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing trauma and stress. We will help equip you with tools and skills that you can use to manage your responses to the environment rather than feeling as if life is happening to you. We will help you identify your stressors and then address those stressors with cognitive-behavioral techniques.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Asking for help is hard. Receiving help should not be hard. We are a culturally diverse group of providers with personal and professional experiences in the LGBTQ community. We feel the color of your skin or your gender identity should not determine your destiny. There is something therapeutic about talking to someone in an open and safe environment. You will get that with us. Plus, if we are not a good fit together, that's okay. We will talk about that as well. The therapeutic relationship is too important to just stick it out with someone you struggle to communicate. Deep breaths.
