About Our Clients
Our clients love our gentle, jungly space to let down for a minute and be their unfiltered, weird and awesome selves. Lots of our folks come to us pretty exhausted and burned out, grieving what they thought their lives would be at this point, or overwhelmed with everything going on in 2024. Many here lately are discerning whether they might be neurodivergent. Most are feeling held back and wanting to break into a new era where they're finally enjoying their lives and relationships more.
Our Approach to Helping
We try to be trauma-attuned, neurodivergent-mindful, and executive-function-friendly from the moment you reach out to ask a question, 'til you're tucking your legs under you on our cozy couches (or gracing our computer screens), and handing you chocolate-covered almonds when we know you're rushing out the door straight to your next appointment. We work through the kind, consensual, and gentle lens of Internal Family Systems (IFS parts work). It's great for folks interested in mindfulness, mind-body work, and trauma work. It's such a great way to heal your relationship with yourself and develop your self-compassion, and to shift out of self-doubt, second-guessing, and self-criticism. You can also process your stuff with S.A.F.E. EMDR, Sand Tray, and Neurofeedback, which can all be done with as many or as *few* words and details as you feel like sharing. We're also introducing "nerd therapy" to our area through our Dungeons and Dragons (DND) groups.
