About My Clients
You might feels stuck, overwhelmed by anxiety, unsure of your identity, or carrying wounds from relationships that left you questioning your worth. You don't need the right words or a clear story to begin. I especially enjoy working with adolescents and young adults, and I'm passionate about serving Spanish-speaking clients who want a bilingual, culturally responsive counseling experience. If you've ever felt like you had to translate more than just your words to be understood, I'm here.
My Background and Approach
I'm a graduate student pursuing my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Nelson University, practicing under licensed supervision. I hold a B.S. in Psychology, an A.A. in Religious Studies, and am a credentialed Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). My experience spans work as an RBT with children and families, mentoring adolescent girls, supporting adults with developmental disabilities, and providing intake support to individuals in crisis. These roles shaped my belief in the power of genuine connection and nonjudgmental listening. I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) within a person-centered approach. I offer sessions in both English and Spanish with a commitment to culturally responsive care.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe hardships do not define a person's worth. Pain may be part of your story, but it does not determine your future. That conviction shapes how I show up for every client. I'm deeply committed to serving the Latinx and Spanish-speaking community. My faith and background in faith-based mentorship have reinforced my belief that healing happens in community and that growth is possible at any stage of life.
