About My Clients
I help children, teens, and adults recover from eating disorders using evidence-based treatments, including CBT-E, CBT-AR, DBT, and family-based approaches. I also support co-occurring concerns like anxiety, OCD, trauma, depression, and emotion dysregulation through practical skills and compassionate, goal-focused care.
My Background and Approach
I provide evidence-based care for emotion dysregulation, suicidality, and eating disorders across the lifespan, including DBT, CBT-E, CBT-AR, family based treatment (FBT), and meal support/coaching. I also treat concerns that often co-occur with eating disorders, such as OCD, anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, self-injury, and suicidality. My style is warm, authentic, and collaborative, and I tailor treatment to your values, goals, and lived experience. I received my PhD in clinical psychology from Duke University, and completed my APA accredited predoctoral internship at UCSD Eating Disorder Center and Rady Children's Hospital Medical Behavioral Unit. I’m currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the DBT and Eating Disorders Centers at EBTCS.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My clinical passions include providing culturally responsive, radically genuine therapy that helps my clients move towards change while cultivating acceptance, self-compassion, and flexible thinking.
