My Background and Approach
I am originally from Liberia, West Africa, and immigrated to the United States as a young child. This transatlantic journey has shaped a lot of my current work. I am especially drawn to working with individuals who struggle with mental health challenges that are tied to their upbringing. How we grew up has a direct impact on how we live. I recognize that you come to me with strengths and accomplishments. My job is to support and help you to identify the strengths that you already possess, and to utilize those gifts in resolving whatever challenges you may face.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that we all deserve to feel love, respect, and a sense of belonging. We deserve to be our true selves, without fear of judgment, discrimination, or rejection. I honor and welcome you just as you are.
