My Background and Approach
Anxiety is on a spectrum. Some people need little nudges, some people need a safe space to process, and others will need homework and structure. Therapy with me is a collaborative experience that is tailored uniquely to you. While we initially address the anxiety symptoms, we will then dive deeper. To be honest, my goal is not to eradicate your anxiety. My goal is to widen your ability to accept this whole human experience so that you will live in harmony with life - not against it.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My life changed when I became liberated with the realization that the human experience includes both joy and pain. I had spent many years running from my suffering. It wasn’t until I stopped, became close to this experience, that I began to heal. All experiences – pleasant and unpleasant – are part of the human condition, so avoiding or fighting with pain is like rejecting an important part of yourself. It is with this understanding that I can celebrate both the highs and lows of this life. This is an ongoing & slow journey. The best type!
