About My Clients
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just need someone to talk to, I’m here to offer a process that moves at your pace and centers your needs. As a Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) Intern, I support individuals, teens, couples, and families in facing whatever life brings, big or small. I’m especially passionate about working with those navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem struggles, relationship challenges, whether romantic, family, or platonic, breakups, life transitions, PTSD,etc.
My Background and Approach
I’m currently pursuing my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at Loma Linda University, building on a strong academic foundation that includes a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from California State University, Los Angeles, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude. I take an integrative, evidence-based approach to therapy, combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). As a Black queer woman in the mental health field, I am especially committed to providing a safe, affirming space for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals. My goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, valued, and empowered to explore your emotions and develop effective coping strategies.
