About My Clients
You feel it a struggle to manage different aspects of your life, and at times find it hard to cope with past experiences or present challenges. Family and friends describe you as the person who can handle it all. When the truth is, life has thrown so much at you, some days you find yourself going through the motions. I've been there myself. I look forward to teaching you the tools to feel empowered as you navigate through you journey of life to find your purpose and passion.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health, National Board Certified Counselor and Advanced Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor. Lots of titles, but what does it mean? It means my goal is to support you as you work towards accomplishing your goals and becoming the best version of you. I have experience with those who are struggling with substance and alcohol addictions, mental health, emotional and spiritual issues. I use an eclectic and collaborative approach rooted in empowering, goal-oriented therapy to help people move toward the future with confidence. I take both person-centered and strengths-based approaches to working with adults.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the capacity for change and growth. I believe that even as a therapist, it's important for me to recognize and develop areas of growth so that I can be the best version of myself and better equipped to help others.
