About My Clients
My clients come from all walks of life, I am a Christian but my clients do not have to be. A marriage is one of the most important relationships you will have in your life. It is my joy to help each couple rediscover the best in their mate. We’ll work to identify and clearly communicate each of your needs to improve your communication and connection.
My Background and Approach
I completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Mental Health Counseling and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, both from Colorado Christian University. I have received training in the Gottman Method for couples (works great for families too), EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) for couples, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for Trauma, and Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. I have also studied and utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and various other modalities. My approach is an eclectic style custom made for each client. I went to school and learned many things, but you are the expert of you and therapy is not a one size fits all solution.
