I enjoy working with clients navigating trauma, identity exploration, relationship concerns, shame, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. My ideal clients may feel stuck, unseen, or disconnected from themselves. I strive to create an affirming, inclusive space where clients can explore their story, emotions, patterns, and healing at their own pace.
My Background and Approach
I am a counselor-in-training who approaches therapy through a trauma-informed, person-centered, and affirming lens. My background includes experience supporting clients as they explore trauma, identity, relationships, emotional overwhelm, anxiety, shame, and life transitions. I believe therapy should be collaborative, respectful, and paced in a way that feels safe for each client. As a white, queer clinician-in-training, I strive to practice with humility, curiosity, and awareness of how identity, relationships, culture, and systems shape each person’s story. My goal is to help clients feel heard and supported while building insight, self-compassion, emotional awareness, and a stronger connection to themselves.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a queer clinician-in-training who is passionate about creating a therapy space that is inclusive, affirming, and rooted in respect for each person’s lived experience. I believe that Black lives matter, reproductive rights are human rights, and all people deserve access to safety, dignity, autonomy, and compassionate care. My values are deeply connected to trauma-informed work, social justice, and advocacy for people who have been harmed, dismissed, or marginalized. I have experience working with survivors of human trafficking, which has strengthened my commitment to creating spaces where clients feel believed, supported, and empowered. I strive to show up with humility, curiosity, and care while honoring the impact of identity, culture, relationships, and systems on healing.
