About My Clients

I specialize in helping people work through complex trauma, chronic stress responses, and internalized shame to reconnect with their emotions, inner wisdom, and sense of safety. You may be navigating difficult emotions, relational challenges, or systemic stressors, longing to break free from old patterns and connect more deeply with yourself. You might feel disconnected from your body, burdened by self-doubt, or unsure how to move forward—but you’re ready to explore and create meaningful change.

My Background and Approach

I have experience supporting clients through trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, identity issues, and relationship struggles. Whether you’re healing from the past or navigating current challenges, I offer a safe space for you to explore, grow, and reclaim your strength. I’m trained in somatic EMDR and integrate psychodynamic, attachment-based, trauma-informed, and mindfulness practices to heal both emotionally and physically. Healing isn’t just about addressing thoughts but also recognizing how trauma resides in the body. My goal is to help you connect with your body’s wisdom, shift old patterns, and build resilience. Additionally, I understand how systemic oppression and cultural narratives impact our experiences, and I use an anti-oppressive, decolonized lens to create a space where your full self is valued. This inclusive approach ensures that your unique lived experience is always respected in our work together.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

In addition to my work in therapy, I actively support movements that focus on social justice, mental health advocacy, and dismantling oppressive systems. I stand behind the principles of anti-racism and decolonization and seek to integrate these values into my practice through a lens that respects each individual’s lived experience. I believe healing is not only about personal growth but also about challenging and changing the systems that contribute to harm. As a woman of color, I understand the powerful intersection of identity, culture, and systemic oppression, and I bring this awareness into every aspect of my work. I believe in the transformative power of self-compassion and the importance of creating spaces where all identities are validated and celebrated.
