About My Clients
Individuals and couples seek me out because they are having a difficult time connecting with themselves and others. They appreciate a direct and compassionate approach and are searching for more emotional, intellectual, and/or sexual intimacy in their lives and partnerships. I see individuals and couples over the age of 26 years old. I see clients in person and virtually in Florida and virtual only in Colorado.
My Background and Approach
I am a Certified Sex Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor skilled in treating relationship conflict, sexual issues, trauma, military stress, life transitions, and anxiety, amongst other issues. I use the framework of attachment theory which focuses on how you relate to people who are important to you. I am professionally trained in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gottman Method, and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy but tend to use a more integrated approach. My therapeutic style is direct and compassionate.
