My Background and Approach
The Psyoga method and techniques I’ll provide are what I have been practicing and cultivating in my life. This method originated from several original concepts that our body, mind, and ‘spirit’ are inextricably connected was through an accumulation of various researched data mixed with personal and professional experiences, I have worked with many to curate individual programs with the correct, gentle breathing and movement exercises to facilitate your mental healing journey. By focusing our attention to coherent levels of heartbeat (inspired by biofeedback methods) the goal is to steadily increase one’s strength physically, emotionally and spiritually.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in Evidence Based Interventions and treatment plans based on the latest scientifically supported findings and best practices, collaboration is very important to me: Goals and treatment plans developed together and informed by client's values and traits. My approach and importance in my therapy is compassion: a non-judgmental and accepting space to discuss what's working and what you would like to see change. I believe in using techniques and methods that are appropriate based on the needs of the client, I rely on research-based interventions with a focus on the mind-body elements of healing. I use a variety of tools that go beyond traditional therapy and coaching that my clients find helpful and productive. I may use specific exercises and techniques to help you know yourself better, release troublesome emotions, and expand your perspective. My goal is to find the approach that works best for you.
