About My Clients
I have experience working with adults of all ages. I especially empathize with college students, international students and immigrants. Coming to the United States is a big transition and it could come with feelings of loneliness and lack of motivation. But you don't have to be alone going through this transition. We can go through it together. I want to help you learn and maintain healthy coping skills, identify the support systems and foster healthy relationships.
My Background and Approach
I want you to feel hopeful about the future and wake up every day excited to start the day filled with purpose. My goal is to help you get to the place where you feel confident, loved and accepted by yourself.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am warm and attentive to the needs of my clients. I try to help my clients rediscover their inner strengths, nurture their self-confidence and validate their experiences. I believe each person is unique and needs to have an individualized approach. Clients are the experts of their lives. I am there to listen, learn, and help them organize their thoughts to see what is important to them. Growing up with both parents as lawyers, I was naturally a peacemaker in the family. I developed good listening and analytical skills from an early age. I became independent after moving to the United States at 16 by myself. I struggled with adjustment and was eager to understand myself and others. Since high school, I started reading psychology books and learning about the human psyche. I have a strong belief that every person is capable of change, and I want to encourage each one to keep trying.
