About My Clients
I work with clients—especially those from LGBTQIA+ and creative communities—who feel stuck in anxiety, depression, or spiritual disconnection. You may crave meaning, healing, or a space to express your full self. Together, we explore wholeness through curiosity, compassion, and mind–body connection.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am currently pre-licensed under the supervision of LPC Karen Lill. In addition to my clinical training, I am a certified yoga instructor, which enriches my holistic understanding of mind-body connection. As a Black woman, I bring both professional and lived experience to my practice, informing a compassionate and culturally sensitive approach. My therapeutic approach is integrative and client-centered, blending evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-Based techniques with somatic and experiential practices drawn from my yoga background. I create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore identity, trauma, relationships, and spirituality. Rooted in anti-oppression and social justice values, my work prioritizes empowerment, authenticity, and healing at the intersection of race, sexuality, gender, and body experience.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I deeply believe in the power of social justice, inclusion, and anti-oppression as foundations of healing and growth. I am committed to creating a therapeutic space where every person—especially those from marginalized communities—feels seen, valued, and empowered. I honor diversity in all its forms: race, gender, sexuality, body size, ability, and relationship style. My practice is intentionally intersectional, acknowledging how systemic inequities impact mental health, and I strive to co-create with you a space free from judgment, where your whole identity is embraced.
