About My Clients

You may be feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns of behaviors, thoughts, or emotions; or struggling in your relationship(s).

My Background and Approach

My therapeutic philosophy is simple: you are not broken but impacted by the experiences of your life. My job is not to “fix” you, but rather help you traverse the complexities of our past relationships and uncomfortable experiences, so that you can begin to heal. I work from the belief that relationships and the systems we live(d) in impact the way we function in our day-to-day lives. My job is to listen and help you achieve what it is that you want to achieve. I’m certainly not an expert in the truth, or the way you should behave, or how you want to live your life. I won’t offer advice. What I can do is to reflect yourself back toward you – as if I were a mirror – where you can look for yourself if you like what you see. My style is nurturing yet direct, humorous at times, and most of all collaborative. Success in therapy is best accomplished when you and I act as a team, making the decisions of what to explore together.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I aim to consistently hold a practice that is LGBTQ+ affirming, poly and kink affirming. If I were in your shoes, I would be looking for someone who is open, direct, and able to challenge me to become the person I strive to be. I find it rewarding and energizing to sit with people and their struggles and am humbled by the opportunity to witness bravery and healing on a daily basis.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
