About My Clients

I love getting to work with individuals, couples, and larger relational groups, and I’m particularly passionate about working with those who are in the LGBTQIA2S+, polyamorous, CNM, kink, neurodiverse, and sex worker communities, as well as those who have been stuck in a long-term freeze state.

My Background and Approach

My humanistic, somatically-oriented approach to therapy focuses on learning to identify and connect with your feelings and needs through your body, exploring personal values and narratives, and moving forward with agency in your relationships with yourself, your loved ones, and those around you. I center non-judgmental compassion in my work and lead with the belief that all people are trying their best with the tools they’ve been given or picked up along the way, even when those tools no longer serve them, harm those around them, or cause them to disconnect from their true feelings and needs. My goal is to provide collaborative support for you as you try new strategies in your continued growth as the wonderful human you are!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a nonbinary, neurodivergent (AuDHD), queer human that also identifies as white, middle class, able-bodied, polyamorous, gray-ace, pan, sex positive, kinky, nerdy, and both gen-z and millennial. Though my identities of power have offered me protection throughout my life, I have often been seen as the weird one and felt pressured to "fit in;" to mask the ways I don't fit the dominant culture. This led me to disconnect from myself and others for a long time, slowly burning myself out to conform to standards and expectations that have never aligned with who I am. The harm I experienced from attempting to adhere to the dominant culture’s expectations inspires my work now. I strive to create space for authenticity: for the weird to come out and for the “should”s to be questioned. How have outside expectations been internalized as “should”s for you? How do they protect you? How do they harm you? My goal is to enable deeper and more fulfilling connection through authentic expression.
