About My Clients
My clients often come to therapy feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, and stuck, and have been trying to cope with overwhelming situations or feelings in harmful ways. I specialize in treating eating disorders, and I also address a range of unhealthy behaviors, disordered eating, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and postpartum mood disorders across diverse family structures.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been providing therapeutic services to Tulsa area children, teens, and adults since 2010. I would describe my therapeutic approach as caring, warm, and insightful. As no one treatment approach is right for everyone, I have training and experience in a range of treatment approaches and modalities, including psychodynamic, somatic or body-oriented psychotherapy, expressive arts therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Oklahoma is not exactly rich in clinicians who are competent in LGBTQIA+ and/or poly/non-monogamous concerns and the interplay with existing mental health issues. It is my desire to provide a safe place to explore gender or sexual identity and/or a safe place to be embody one's full identity while working on other concerns in the context of therapy.
