About My Clients
While all the individuals I serve are unique, I feel most comfortable working with LGBTQ+ identified or questioning persons, families on any side of the foster care system, and adults (and their caregivers) with lifelong illnesses.
My Background and Approach
Therapy can be uncomfortable when you're talking to someone you don't know. I believe that therapy with me is different! We will work to achieve your goals at the pace that is right for you. I hope to provide a relaxed environment that is truly inclusive, client-centered, safe, and free from judgement. I use an intersectional approach and evidence based practices that are tailored to you and always with your input. I am also licensed in South Carolina and Vermont- I can provide a super bill for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy! I dealt with unresolved anxiety for many years. Now, my anxiety is well managed and I'm constantly learning new techniques to help myself and my clients! I am a life long member of the LGBTQ+ community, a dog mom, and avid gardener.
