About My Clients
I specialize in helping individuals who have experienced recent and past trauma. Additionally, I am well-versed in working with individuals with anxiety, OCD, depression, and addiction-related disorders. I consider it an honor and privilege to listen to people’s life stories, support them in achieving their goals, and help them navigate through the various challenging seasons of their lives.
My Background and Approach
I have worked and trained in various environments—from residential facilities to university counseling centers and I am skilled at working with a diverse client population. I utilize an integrative approach pulling from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Time-Limited Dynamic Psychotherapy (TLDP), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Contextual Trauma Therapy (CTT). I utilize specific modalities such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) when treating individual who are struggling with symptoms of PTSD and CBT with Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am passionate about social justice and continue to learn and grow each day to better understand my own power and privilege that has been unearned and yet can be used to help those around me. I continue to enter into contexts both in my profession work and personal life to interact with people from different cultural, ethnic, religious, spiritual, gender, and sexuality communities to continue to meet people where they are and learn about them as individuals. I believe that we all want to be seen and loved as people.
