About My Clients
I’ve worked extensively with therapy clients who are actively pursuing highly specialized training and completing high-stakes projects (e.g., dissertations, books, films). I've also helped many people who feel uncomfortable in social situations and who struggle with procrastination and perfectionism.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as well as psychodynamic and person-centered therapy principles. Therapy with me is tailored to your specific needs but is always based in a supportive therapeutic relationship. This can include developing new coping skills and working to disrupt frustrating interpersonal patterns.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Reaching out for therapy requires a tremendous amount of vulnerability, but it can be an immensely rewarding and even transformative experience once you've found the right therapist for you.
