About My Clients
My ideal client are clients motivated and ready to take a deep look at the challenges life has thrown their way, while developing a vision for a future life that is more satisfying. Whether therapy is new or past experiences left you unfulfilled, I am here to help guide your journey to better self understanding and deep meaning in life. I will be an active participate in our therapy sessions and clients looking for a collaborative process would be an excellent fit.
My Background and Approach
I have worked for over 10 years helping others reach their self-determined goals in life. I have extensive experience working within the education system supporting families and assisting students with anxiety, depression, impulse control, motivation, learning challenges, self-esteem, and behavioral challenges. I utilize several different modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Psychodynamic, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to meet each individual’s specific goals and needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe the relationship between therapist and client is a primary driver for therapeutic change, thus I emphasize establishing an authentic and safe relationship to bring out all of the amazing potential that exists innately within you. Together we will explore, grow and heal during the therapeutic process with the ultimate goal of living a more meaningful and fulfilling life as defined by you. I have completed his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Maryland and received his Masters of Social Work from The Catholic University of America. I am licensed in Maryland and is a Board-certified clinical supervisor.
