About My Clients
I help adults who are struggling with panic attacks, painful past experiences, or Colorado workers comp treatment. Panic may show up as sudden waves of fear, chest tightness, racing heart, or feeling like you’re losing control, especially at work, while driving, or in the grocery store. You may be haunted by traumatic events that still bring fear, shame, self‑blame, or vivid memories. You’re ready to address these patterns and feel more like yourself again.
My Background and Approach
I am a panic and trauma specialist and have worked with hundreds of clients struggling with these challenges in various clinical settings. It is my passion to help clients find healing from intense fear and from the past experiences that continue to impact them. I received my graduate degree from the University of Michigan and completed a specialized Post Graduate Training Fellowship through the Kaiser Permanente Psychiatry Department. I draw on EMDR, CBT, DBT, IFS, and mindfulness at a pace that respects your nervous system and history. Our work balances a warm, honest relationship with practical tools and clear goals. If you’re curious about working together, you’re welcome to schedule a free introductory call.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Since I first started considering a career, I knew that I wanted to do something that offered direct support and service to others. This has guided my career in various roles and continues to be my main motivation for being a therapist. I believe kindness and compassion are some of the most healing elements we can offer to another person. This is essential for quality therapy. I've also lived overseas during various years of my life and was exposed to a wide range of people and cultures throughout my life. This has helped me to develop cultural humility and curiosity, which I utilize daily in my practice. I get excited to learn the stories, histories, and perspectives of all people I work with. This includes individuals from the international, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ communities.
