About My Clients
Parenting can be rewarding, challenging, and sometimes overwhelming. I work with parents and families of children navigating big feelings, challenging behaviors, mealtimes, feeding concerns, and the everyday transitions of early childhood. I also enjoy supporting emerging adults as they navigate independence, relationships, identity, and life’s next chapter. Wherever you are in your journey, I offer a warm, collaborative space to feel understood, build practical tools, and live the life you want
My Background and Approach
I bring more than a decade of experience with specialized training in pediatric psychology and a particular focus on children, parents, and families. My clinical specialties include pediatric feeding disorders and ARFID, early childhood development, emotional regulation, behavior, parenting, and family functioning. I also work with neurodivergent children and families and enjoy supporting emerging adults through the transitions that come with greater independence, changing relationships, and finding their own path. My approach draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Parent Management Therapy (PMT), and Family Systems approaches. I completed my PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Arizona, followed by internship and fellowship training at Boston Children’s Hospital. I also serve on the Board of Directors of the International Association of Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing as the Psychologist-at-Large.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that the strategies that work for one stage of life may not always work in the next. Therapy can provide a supportive space to understand what has changed, build new tools, and help you and/or your family move forward with greater confidence and connection.
