About My Clients
As a veteran and licensed professional counselor, I combine evidence-based therapy with the resilience, purpose, accountability, and self-management skills I gained through military service. I welcome individuals, couples, and families from all backgrounds, helping clients heal from trauma, strengthen relationships, improve sleep, navigate life's challenges, and build practical skills for lasting growth, balance, and meaningful change.
My Background and Approach
Life challenges can leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about the future. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, insomnia, stress, grief, or life transitions, therapy can help you develop the tools to move forward. I provide evidence-based therapy for individuals, couples, and families using EMDR, CBT, DBT, CBT-I, and Gottman Method principles to support healing, stronger relationships, improved sleep, and lasting resilience. As a veteran and licensed professional counselor with 12 years active-duty military experience and a background providing mental health support in diverse global and deployed environments, I understand the impact of stress, trauma, transition, and adversity. I integrate lessons from military service—purpose, adaptability, accountability, emotional regulation, communication, and self-management—to help you navigate challenges and create meaningful change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person deserves to feel seen, respected, valued, and accepted for who they are. I create a therapeutic space built on compassion, trust, and inclusivity where people of all backgrounds, cultures, identities, gender expressions, sexual orientations, and life experiences feel safe and welcome. I believe healing happens through authentic connection, understanding, and the courage to be vulnerable. I honor and respect all spiritual and religious beliefs, as well as those who do not identify with a specific faith or spiritual path. My role is not to define your purpose, but to support you in exploring your own values, beliefs, strengths, and sources of meaning. I believe connection with others is essential to resilience, growth, and a fulfilling life. Whether you are healing from trauma, navigating change, strengthening relationships, or seeking greater balance and purpose, I believe therapy can help you reconnect with yourself and create meaningful change.
