About My Clients
My clients are often thoughtful, sensitive, and self-aware, yet feel stuck in anxiety, trauma, or emotional patterns they can’t shift. Many have tried years of talk therapy but still feel overwhelmed, numb, or reactive. They want deeper healing, emotional freedom, and the ability to feel safe, connected, and fully present in their lives.
My Background and Approach
I bring over 25 years of experience as a trauma therapist working with adults affected by PTSD, developmental trauma, and emotional overwhelm. My work is grounded in Brainspotting and EMDR, two powerful, brain-based therapies that help the nervous system complete what was interrupted by trauma or chronic stress. Along side private practice, I have worked in inpatient, partial hospital, and intensive outpatient programs and managed psychiatric clinics, giving me deep experience supporting people through crisis and complex trauma with steadiness and care. Alongside trauma processing, I use polyvagal-informed tools to support anxiety, panic, and nervous system regulation. I focus on the body and brain—not just thoughts—so emotional pain and protective patterns can release in a way that feels safe, respectful, and aligned with your natural capacity to heal.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people have an incredible capacity to heal from trauma and create meaningful change in their lives. Even when experiences have been overwhelming or painful, the nervous system is always moving toward balance and integration. Healing is not about erasing the past — it is about freeing yourself from the ways it still shapes how you feel, relate, and move through the world. I also believe that each person already carries within them the ability to heal. My role is not to fix or change you, but to offer a safe, attuned, and trusting environment where your system can do what it naturally knows how to do. When we feel supported and understood, deeper layers of healing can begin to unfold. Trauma work takes courage. Turning toward what has been avoided or held alone is not easy, but it is deeply worthwhile. With the right support, what once felt impossible can become a path toward clarity, connection, and freedom.
