About My Clients
You’re thriving professionally, but your inner world tells a different story. Parts of you carry anxiety, sadness, or the urge to escape through substances, staying forever busy, or doom-scrolling. Even with your success, you don’t feel the peace you expected, and the hidden conflicts inside you are becoming harder to ignore. You're generally very good at doing things alone, but you wonder if there's a better way.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and who holds dual Master’s Degrees in Spiritual Psychology and Depth Psychology. I am licensed in both California and Colorado. With over 15 years of experience studying the mind/body connection, I blend concepts and practices from Eastern philosophy like mindfulness and compassion in conjunction with Western advances in neuroscience, trauma recovery, and psychedelics. I am trained EMDR and IFS for trauma, and I actively pursue ongoing education in psychedelic assisted psychotherapy. For couples, I work at the intersection of neuroscience and attachment theory — helping partners understand the nervous system dynamics driving their conflict, rebuild safety and trust, and rediscover the connection that brought them together. You'll leave our first session with concrete tools you can use immediately.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we are spiritual beings having a human experience that includes people and circumstances designed to help us grow. I believe when we change the way we look at things, the things we look at begin to change. I believe we are all doing the best we can with the tools we have. I believe most all psychological distress comes from judgments we unconsciously hold about ourselves and others. I believe it's never too late to start over. I believe true forgiveness can heal just about anything and that there is nothing more powerful than love.
