About My Clients
My clients often feel boxed in or misunderstood. Many are queer, neurodivergent, in non-traditional relationships, or simply never felt “normal.” I especially connect with those navigating complex trauma, identity shifts, or communication issues in relationships. If you’ve ever been told you’re “too much” or “not enough,” you’ll likely feel right at home working with me.
My Background and Approach
I’m a neurodivergent queer therapist who brings both lived experience and professional training to my work. With a background in social work, I focus on the “whole picture” of your environment and how it shapes you. Whether with individuals or relationships, my style is client-led and conversational, rooted in unpacking your life’s stories and patterns through a trauma-informed lens. You won’t get worksheets or homework with me; instead, we’ll talk through how your past shows up in your present, uncover new ways of relating to yourself and others, and move toward a life that feels more authentic. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, so I adapt as your needs change. Ultimately, my goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space where you can explore, experiment, and gradually learn to show up as your authentic self in every context.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when it feels human. That means I’ll bring my whole self into the room—curious, warm, and sometimes a little goofy—because real connection matters more to me than formality. As a queer, neurodivergent person, I know what it’s like to feel “too much” or like you don’t quite fit, and that perspective shapes how I show up for clients. Outside of work, I care about community, creativity, and finding spaces where people can be real together. I’m passionate about supporting queer and trans communities, neurodivergent folks, and anyone rewriting the rules about how life or relationships are “supposed” to look. Thanks to my prior career in writing, I also believe in the power of storytelling, and even a little bit of messiness in the healing process.
