About My Clients
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, struggling to trust their own judgment, or carrying shame and fear that never truly belonged to them. My goal is to provide a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where you can make sense of your experiences, build practical coping skills, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and your own.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is person-centered, trauma-informed, and integrative. That means I don't believe there's one right way to do therapy (or life, for that matter). Depending on you and what brings you to therapy, I may pull from approaches like CBT, DBT, somatic work, and other evidence-based practices while keeping your experiences, needs, values, and autonomy at the center of our work. My goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where there's room to ask uncomfortable questions, get curious about old patterns, and explore what actually matters to you. I have my own history with high-control religion, purity culture, and figuring out what I actually believe when the answers I grew up with no longer felt so certain. As a result of those experiences I value being able to offer a space where you don't have to start by explaining just how deep the impact of religious harm may run.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should feel genuine, collaborative, and tailored to you, rather than a "one size fits all" approach. My goal is to combine compassion with practical tools to help you process difficult experiences, build practical coping skills, and move toward the life you want while feeling heard, understood, and supported.
