My Background and Approach
I began working at a non-profit agency in 2001 as an in home therapist for foster and adoptive families. I supported each family in understanding their foster or adoptive child differently. In 2016 I became a licensed professional counselor. At that time I changed positions and began to work with families struggling with substance use. I also received Internal Family Systems (IFS) level 1 training and training in Advanced Motivational Interviewing. My roots are with attachment and IFS helps individuals to repair attachments internally. I am honored and excited to support you on your journey of self healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My belief is that every person has special gifts to share with the world and it is my job to help you to unburden what is weighing you down and/or blocking you from your true meaning.
