My clients are looking to me to help navigate through the challenges of life. Whether your anxiety is “normal” or reaches the level of “trauma” I work with you to find hope, healing, and the resiliency to thrive. If you are struggling with what to do next, feeling trapped or indecisive, or unsure how to reach your dreams/goals then our work together is meant to bring clarity and focus to your next steps.
My Background and Approach
I have post-graduate training in cognitive processing therapy, CPT, for PTSD, cognitive behavioral therapy and am a certified anger management specialist through the National Anger Management Association. These skills allow me to build a plan of action for you that is based in proven techniques, while allowing us the flexibility to adapt to changes in your situation as they arise. I call this my collaborative and compassionate approach to counseling. In addition to this, my work with Starlight Counseling provides additional support to all of my clients, our team works behind the scenes to help ensure that our work is following the highest standards, and the various perspectives of the team allow me to adapt and modify our approach in sessions with the insights of over half a century of combined therapy experience and wisdom.
