As a board-certified PMHNP-BC, I have undergone rigorous training and education to ensure that I can offer the highest standard of care to my patients. My experience serving fellow veterans at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center has deepened my understanding of the unique challenges faced by this population, while also honing my skills in trauma-informed care and suicide prevention. My commitment to ongoing learning and professional development means that I am continuously expanding my knowledge and staying abreast of the latest advancements in psychiatric care.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Joining One Behavioral Health feels like coming home for me, as it allows me to continue my mission of improving mental well-being in the community where I have roots. As a U.S. Navy veteran myself, I am deeply passionate about supporting my fellow service members and veterans as they navigate the complexities of mental health. Beyond my clinical practice, I am committed to advocacy efforts aimed at destigmatizing mental illness and promoting access to care for all individuals. I believe in the power of innovation to drive positive change in the field of behavioral medicine, and I am dedicated to exploring new approaches to treatment that prioritize the needs and experiences of my patients.
