About My Clients
I work with adults and seniors struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and schizophrenia. My ideal client seeks compassionate care and is open to exploring both psychotherapy and medication as part of their mental health journey. I provide a non-judgmental space where clients can work on emotional stability, wellness, and personal growth.
My Background and Approach
I’m a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with over 17 years of healthcare experience. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Nova Southeastern University, graduating with honors, and a Bachelor's in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University. My areas of expertise include treating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and schizophrenia. I use a holistic approach that incorporates both psychotherapy and medication management, and I am trained in modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, and culturally sensitive care. Fluent in English, French, Creole, and proficient in Spanish, I aim to provide compassionate, patient-centered care that is tailored to each individual’s unique needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I believe that mental health care should be individualized and compassionate. My approach is grounded in empathy, understanding that each person’s journey is unique. I am committed to working collaboratively with my clients to address their mental health challenges and support them in achieving their goals. I also support mental health advocacy, believing in reducing stigma and promoting access to care for all individuals. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where clients feel empowered to take control of their mental health.
