About My Clients
I know how hard it can be to find a good therapist. Maybe you're tired and this just feels like yet another thing to DO when all you want is to feel better. Our society is not designed to support you in living your most free and embodied life, but it IS possible to reconnect with and reclaim that version of yourself. Even if it feels overwhelming now, I believe you have the inner wisdom and capability to handle it all. There is a way out of the darkness you may feel right now.
My Background and Approach
With 9 years background in mindfulness and yoga, I approach therapy from a whole person perspective. Our mental health does not exist in an isolated vacuum so I don't treat it as such. When working with me we will take into account the broader systems - familial, political, religious, etc. that you exist in and how things like your physical health and environment may also impact your well being. After building a strong foundation of trust and resiliency, therapy with me will work to get to the root cause of your pain. Through parts work and somatic processing, we will work to increase your capacity to hold all that life bring you - both the hardships and the ecstatic joy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in your innate wholeness. Therapy with me is not about fixing what is “wrong” with you, but about gently unveiling the wholeness that already exists—perhaps beneath societal conditioning, life experiences, learned coping strategies, and ancestral burdens. We move at your pace to unveil that goodness and wholeness that is underneath all the burdens the world has given us.
