About My Clients

You may be feeling overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or disconnected from yourself or others. Perhaps you're navigating difficult life transitions, unresolved past experiences, or patterns that continue to affect your well-being. Whatever brings you here, you’re looking for meaningful change—and a space where you feel understood.

My Background and Approach

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I’ve been trained to work holistically—considering not just individual symptoms, but the relationships, cultural context, and life experiences that shape who you are. I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse populations in both community mental health and private practice settings, supporting clients through challenges like anxiety, relationship struggles, intergenerational trauma, identity exploration, and life transitions. My clinical work is grounded in evidence-based approaches such as trauma informed care, EMDR, mindfulness, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and narrative therapy, which means our work together will be both compassionate and goal-oriented. I also bring a culturally responsive lens to therapy, which allows me to meet you where you are and honor your unique background. Whatever you're facing, my goal is to help you feel empowered, seen, and supported as you move toward lasting change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

At the heart of my work is a deep belief in the power of human connection, resilience, and the right to feel seen and valued for who you truly are. As a therapist, I’m committed to creating a space that is inclusive, anti-oppressive, and affirming of all identities. I’m especially passionate about supporting BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and first-generation individuals navigating the complexities of identity, systemic stress, and belonging. My own experiences have shaped a strong belief in the healing that comes from reclaiming your voice, setting boundaries, and breaking cycles. I stand for mental health access, social justice, and emotional liberation—and I bring those values into the room with humility, cultural awareness, and respect. Therapy with me isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about walking beside you as you uncover the strength that’s already within.
