About My Clients
My clients are often high-functioning on the outside and quietly overwhelmed on the inside. They are professionals, caregivers, partners, and leaders who carry significant responsibility while privately navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction recovery, or major life transitions. Many have learned to survive by staying strong, staying busy, or staying silent. Over time, that survival strategy can begin to feel heavy.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHC-A), Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate (LCAS-A), and National Certified Counselor (NCC). My clinical background includes working with adults in substance use recovery, trauma treatment, and complex mental health settings at PHP, IOP, and outpatient levels of care. I am EMDR-trained and integrate evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed practices. My work is rooted in both clinical rigor and whole-person care. I understand how trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, and relational wounds intersect—not just cognitively, but neurologically and emotionally. I also recognize the resilience required to seek help. Many of the individuals I work with have spent years managing responsibilities while privately carrying unprocessed pain.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens in spaces where people feel seen, respected, and safe to be fully themselves. Therapy should never require you to edit your identity, minimize your story, or conform to someone else’s worldview. My role is not to judge or impose, but to support you in discovering what is true and meaningful for you. I am committed to creating an inclusive, affirming space for individuals of all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences. I proudly affirm and support LGBTQIA+ individuals and relationships. Your gender identity, sexual orientation, culture, spirituality (or lack thereof), relationship structure, and personal values are honored in this space. I approach differences with humility and curiosity, recognizing that I am always learning and growing as a clinician and as a person.
