I believe that grief and loss are emotions that none of us can go through life without feeling. We all have our own ways of grieving. No one person can tell you how you should grieve or how long your grief will last. My goal is to be here for you and provide what your need to get through this journey. I have specialized training to help with your grief and loss.

Self-esteem isn't just a concern with children and adolescents. Childhood experiences and negative thoughts affect our self-esteem into adulthood. My goal is provide clients with the tools to understand the origin of their beliefs, recognize how these beliefs have molded their character and thoughts, and help to change their thought process and increase their self-esteem. I work with children/adolescents and all ages of adults to help them see the value in their lives.

Anxiety is an emotion that can overpower you and control the rest of your emotions and thoughts. When this emotion remains "unchecked", anxiety can also interfere with your health and lifestyle. I work with my clients to help them become aware of how anxiety is controlling their life and provide them with the knowledge and skills to understand and control this emotion so they can live a healthy and happier life.

Cognitive behavioral therapy helps people learn how to identify and change the destructive or disturbing thought patterns that have a negative influence on their behavior and emotions and strives to replace them with more desirable and realistic thoughts.

Mindfulness therapy focuses on learning how to be more aware of thoughts, feelings, emotions, surroundings, and situations and reduce automatic responses. Mindfulness is a method of becoming more aware of yourself and your environment that is hindering your progress. This is done through sensory focus, structured thinking, breathing exercises.

Eclectic therapy is an integrative approach to therapy that aims to discover and implement the most effective treatment for each individual. Instead of following a predefined methodical structure, eclectic therapy pulls from various therapy techniques to treat each person as unique individuals.
