About My Clients
I enjoy working with children and families to promote confidence and independence. I work with children ages 4 and up and utilize play therapy practices to support growth. Play therapy supports children in healing, and growing in a way that is developmentally appropriate and accessible for even young children. And most importantly it is fun!
My Background and Approach
I began my journey as an educator as a classroom aid in 2017 after earning her B.S. in Psychological and Brain Sciences. Since then, I have earned her Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in School Psychology from California State University at Sacramento. As a district school psychologist, I gained experience working with all age groups ranging from preschool through 12th grade. I became a Licensed Educational Psychologist in January of 2023, and has loved working with families proactively to support their students. For counseling, I pursued additional training in Play Therapy. I am an AutPlay certified provider, and have a particular interest in supporting neurodiverse students. In my free time I enjoy spending time with her family, taking my dog on adventures, and fostering orphaned kittens.
