About My Clients

Clients I work with are often grappling with challenges and questions around perfectionism, anxiety, gender and sexuality, and neurodivergence. Many are exhausted from experiences with masking and social burnout. I find that clients who connect best with my style are those who are looking for authentic, deep exploration of values, struggles and desires, and are interested in sitting with and unpacking ways that oppressive systems have and continue to impact their mental health.

My Background and Approach

Because I believe you are the expert on your own needs, experiences and process, our work is guided by your intuition and deepening understanding as we collaborate on a path forward. I prioritize connection and know how important our relationship is in this work. I aim to provide a space where clients can be in the moment, reflect, recognize and make slow and intentional shifts, and focus on their values as we explore this work together. My approach is collaborative, person-centered, neurodivergent affirming, Health-at-Every-Size aligned, and liberation focused. I integrate client expertise with trauma-informed, evidence-based modalities including acceptance and commitment therapy, metacognitive therapy, detached mindfulness and other branches of cognitive behavioral therapy. I do support clients through exposure techniques but am careful and intentional about whether and how we integrate these, prioritizing consent and values above all else.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My identities include white, neurodivergent and queer. I am aware that these identities inform my lived experience as an individual as well as a therapist. I am deeply committed to disability justice, as well as the pursuit of my own learning and unlearning in order to continue to foster a safe, anti-oppressive space for people of all identities and backgrounds.
