About My Clients
I work primarily with career-driven Muslim couples preparing for marriage or navigating early marital challenges, helping them align, communicate, and strengthen connection for lasting unity. I also support Black women in demanding careers feeling burned out, disconnected, or pressured by identity and expectations.
My Background and Approach
I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist and Sudanese Muslim American. I guide couples and individuals in uncovering the roots of challenges tied to culture, identity, and personal history, helping them navigate stress, misalignment, and patterns that no longer serve them. My approach is warm, culturally aware, and practical, combining reflection with tangible strategies to build clarity, alignment, and stronger connection-whether in relationships or personal life. Therapy with me is collaborative and intentional, designed to help couples thrive and individuals reclaim balance and authenticity.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm committed to culturally grounded, faith-informed care, centering Black and Muslim experiences in therapy. I believe in strengthening relationships and empowering individuals to show up fully without minimizing who they are. My work is rooted in creating safe, intentional spaces where couples can align and communicate effectively, and where individuals can reclaim agency, clarity, and confidence. I also support causes related to community mental health, social justice, and equitable access to therapy.
