About My Clients
As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, he cares for patients ages sixteen and older with anxiety, depression, and mood disorders, and specializes in LGBTQIA+ affirming and transgender-related mental health care. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, he completed his undergraduate studies in psychology at the University of New Mexico and worked in social services at AIDS Services of Austin in Austin, Texas, providing case management and support to individuals with advanced HIV disease.
My Background and Approach
Ross holds a Masters of Science and Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin, where he completed studies as an Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist. For fifteen years he worked in preventative cardiology and stroke neurology, then went on to complete his postmaster certificate as a PMHNP at the University of New Mexico. He uses his passion for landscape photography as a way to stay spiritually centered, and he and his husband enjoy travel, cooking, and being in nature with their dog Henry.
