About My Clients
I welcome clients with diverse identities and concerns, and strive to create a safe, compassionate environment where you feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, or trauma/complex PTSD, including survivors of assault/abuse. I also support clients navigating life transitions, gender/sexual/racial identity-related stressors, relationship or communication challenges, stress, and burnout.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, somatic interventions, and psychodynamic, narrative, and relational therapy, rooted in a culturally sensitive, strengths-based, and person-centered framework. I tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. My work emphasizes evidence-based practices while honoring each person's lived experiences, values, strengths, and goals. Therapy with me is a partnership. I believe you are the expert on your own life, while my role is to help you understand yourself more fully, process difficult experiences, and heal from what's been weighing you down. Our work together may include building insight into patterns, strengthening interpersonal relationships and emotional regulation skills, and developing practical tools and coping strategies for lasting and meaningful change.
